Since time in the shipyard is limited and very crucial, most of the preparations for the scrubber installation is made in advance by pre-fabricating of modules and components. We are also able to offer our revolutionary work on voyage to considerably decrease vessel downtime.
Cofferdams
A cofferdam can be used for various penetration sizes and shapes. Usage of cofferdams is the
conventional method for hull penetrations. We have an extensive track record of successful hull
penetrations in the North Sea.
Hot-tapping
We have used this method for safe and efficient underwater salvage operations. Penetration sizes range
between DN75-DN1000. Very little heat is generated in the process as a drill is used for penetrations.
There is minimized fire risk and no hull deformation. The hot tapping machine acts as a means of
isolation between the sea and the ship, so it eliminates risk of flooding
